Oman’s Houthis claiming they attacked a Saudi oil tanker. Crude this morning up another $4.00 to over $91.00, Brent crude closing in on $100.00.
The 10 year note now at a new high at 4.71%. Over the last five sessions the 10 year note has increased 20 bps.
Weekly jobless claims last week substantially lower than estimates at 187K against forecasts of 214K and down 22K from the week before, it is the lowest weekly claims in 60 years. Continuing claims, which are seen as a gauge of outstanding unemployment in the US, fell by 2,000 to 1,796,000.
